Roadway Lighting and Road Safety Project

The installation of street lighting aims to enhance nighttime road safety for all road users. Proper lighting improves drivers’ visibility, allowing them to see more clearly, similar to daylight conditions, and enables them to effectively perceive important information and their surroundings.

The lighting requirements for each road segment vary depending on several factors including the physical characteristics of the road, traffic conditions, and the surrounding environment.

Public Lighting Pole

Install low voltage lighting systems operating at 220 volts(single phase) and 380 to 400 volts (three phase) in key public areas such as main roads, secondary roads, intersections, roundabouts without traffic signals, bridges, pedestrian overpasses, sidewalks, crosswalks, public parks, markets, playgrounds, public parking areas, community sports grounds, bus shelters, and bus stops without shelters.

Management and Control System

The Lighting Control and Management System is a technology based system used to control, monitor, and plan the operation of lighting in buildings or outdoor areas such as roads, factories, office buildings, or smart cities. Its purpose is to promote energy efficiency, safety, and ease of maintenance. The system can be divided into the following components

  • Smart Lighting Fixtures
  • Sensors
  • Lighting Controller
  • Lighting Management Platform

Integrated Lighting with Building Automation

A solution that integrates the lighting system with the Building Automation System to work seamlessly with other sensors such as occupancy sensors which turn lights on and off based on usage, and daylight sensors which dim lighting when natural light is sufficient, in order to maximize energy savings.
